EPCL Hires a New Director

At their meeting on September 14, 2023, the Library Board hired Beck Gorman to serve as the new Library Director. We thank Cathy Mason for her past year of service in this role, and for her previous work with the East Parker County Library. She will be staying on with the Library Board.

Meet Your New Director

Beck Gorman holds an ALA-accredited master's degree in library & information science with a focus on public library service. She is passionate about lifelong learning and has worked diverse roles in libraries across the country since 2006. As a resident of Aledo, Beck is excited to serve her local community and lead East Parker County Library in helping meet the area’s growing informational, educational, recreational, and cultural needs.
