East Parker County Library

Support Your Library

Learn ways you can donate money, materials, time, or skills to support EPCL.

Thank you for thinking of the library! We welcome your support in whatever form you are able. Simply telling your friends and family about our services, or sharing our social media posts, is a great start. We appreciate you.

Financial Support

East Parker County Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. If you would like to donate money as an individual or business, we are happy to accept your contribution year round. We also have opportunities to donate during special events like North Texas Giving Day in September.

Be sure to check if your employer matches charitable contributions or takes suggestions for corporate giving.

If you would like to host a fundraiser or donate a percentage of sales from your local business, please get in touch with the Director at libdirector@epclibrary.com or call 817-441-6545.

Library Materials and Other Physical Donations

Library Materials

EPCL does accept certain categories of book, audiobook, and DVD donations in new or like-new condition. These items may be added to our collection, sold, or given away as prizes.

Primarily we are looking for recent items. Once you finish that hot new bestseller you bought, maybe you'd like to share it with the community. If you have a birthday party coming up, perhaps you'd like to encourage guests to bring a new book to donate instead of a present.

Due to space and time constraints, please call first to speak with staff about what the library can take and to coordinate a drop off. Our phone number is 817-441-6545.
Please do not put donation items in the book drop or outside library doors.

Other Physical Items

We commonly need items like office supplies, toilet paper, and paper towels. Currently we are working hard to create a MakerSpace for the community, and we would be delighted to discuss possibilities for related equipment, technology, or supply donations. At times we may need supplies for crafting or other library programming. We frequently accept donations to use as prizes for our summer reading program and other events.

If you would like to help with the needs listed above, or have another donation in mind, please reach out to the Director at libdirector@epclibrary.com, call 817-441-6545, or visit us today.

SERVICE and Advocacy

Volunteer Your Time

We welcome regular volunteers to shelve library materials, prepare crafts for programming, and more. Sometimes we have short term projects for one-off volunteers as well.

We are always looking for new programming opportunities. Perhaps you would like to teach a yoga class, demonstrate how to perform an oil change, or hold a writer's workshop.

If you would like to volunteer your services in graphic design or a skilled trade, please contact us. We can brainstorm uses together or save your information for future needs.

If you would like to volunteer, have a specific skill or service you would like to donate to the library, or just want to inquire about our current needs, please stop by, give us a call at 817-441-6545, or email the Director at libdirector@epclibrary.com.

Advocate on Our Behalf

Want to use your voice, skills, and connections to help us have an even greater impact on the community? Friends of the East Parker County Library volunteer their time and talents with the Library Board on fundraising endeavors. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Friends group, please email president@epclibrary.com.
