North Texas Giving Day is an annual giving event created to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they champion! Your East Parker County Library has operated since July 14, 1994 (almost 30 years!) as a 501(c)(3) non-profit providing free borrowing services as well as print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through our public computers and WI-FI, programming, and more to all residents in Parker County and Aledo ISD. Learn about how bees work together and benefit our environment! Participants will read a book about bees, learn about pollination, observe bee specimens from the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, and complete a bee house project. This workshop is best suited for our 6-12 year old friends. Waitlist available; contact library for more information.
